Mark your ideal placement before we arrive
Use masking tape to outline where each piece should go before your installer arrives. For gallery walls, cut paper templates the same size as each frame and tape them to the wall — this lets you tweak the arrangement without making a single hole.
Know your wall type
Plasterboard (most common in Australian homes) needs picture hooks, plasterboard anchors, or stud fixing depending on item weight. Brick and concrete need masonry anchors. Tap the wall — hollow sounds mean plasterboard; solid means masonry. Our installers carry fixings for all types.
Plan gallery walls from the centre outwards
A gallery wall looks most balanced when you start from the centre piece and work outward. Decide on the hero piece first — usually the largest or most eye-catching frame — then arrange supporting pieces symmetrically. Tell us your vision when booking and we'll plan the layout with you on the day.
