Heavy, glass and extendable table handling
A dining table top is often the heaviest single item in a flat-pack order. Glass, marble and engineered-stone tops are also the easiest to chip, and an extendable table has a mechanism that has to line up before the top is fixed down.
Tell us the top material and the table dimensions when you request the quote. That decides whether the job is resourced as one assembler or two, and it is the single detail that most often changes the price.
Two-person handling
Heavy stone, marble and large timber tops are quoted as two-person work where the weight or size requires it.
Glass and stone care
Fragile tops are unpacked on protective covering and seated onto their brackets or suction pads as specified.
Extension mechanisms
Butterfly-leaf and slide-out runners are aligned, then tested through the full extension and retraction.
Levelling on site
Adjustable feet are set so the table sits flat on your actual floor, not just on a level surface.
