1. Who we are

"Liztty" ("we/us/our") provides flat‑rate pickup and delivery of furniture, appliances and similar bulky household items, plus small‑item concierge deliveries, within Greater Sydney.

2. Booking & Quotes

  • 2.1 Bookings are requests until we confirm by SMS/email.
  • 2.2 Quotes are based on information you provide (addresses, distance, stairs, item size/weight, access/parking). If details differ on arrival, we may requote before commencing.
  • 2.3 Parking fees and road tolls are charged at cost.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • 3.1 Launch flat rates: $79 (≤10 km), $119 (10–20 km), $159 (20–30 km).
  • 3.2 Add‑ons: $20/flight of stairs, $2/min waiting after 15 minutes, $60/h assembly, $30–$80 extra‑heavy/difficult access.
  • 3.3 Payment is due before delivery or on pickup (card/transfer). A deposit may be required to secure a slot.

4. Access, Packing & Item Condition

  • 4.1 Items must be disconnected, emptied and reasonably clean. Appliances must be unplugged, drained and water lines capped by you. We do not plumb, wire or gas‑fit.
  • 4.2 You are responsible for ensuring safe access (clear hallways, elevators booked, parking arranged where possible).
  • 4.3 We use blankets/straps and take reasonable care; you acknowledge second‑hand items may have existing wear.

5. Stairs, Weight & Safety

  • 5.1 Stairs/steps are charged per flight. Extremely heavy items (>90 kg) or complex access may require an additional helper or refusal if unsafe.
  • 5.2 Our team may decline a job or part of a job if, in their reasonable opinion, it is unsafe (risk to people or property).

6. Service Scope

  • 6.1 We move typical household furniture and appliances that fit in a standard van and can be safely carried by two people.
  • 6.2 We do not transport hazardous goods, fuel‑filled equipment, animals or people, or commercial pallet loads exceeding one van trip.
  • 6.3 We do not provide professional installation, carpentry, plumbing, gas, electrical, wall‑mounting or complex disassembly unless explicitly agreed.

7. Small‑Item, Gift & Liquor Deliveries

  • 7.1 Liztty does not sell alcohol or tobacco. We only deliver items that are pre‑purchased by the customer from a licensed retailer.
  • 7.2 We may request proof of purchase at pickup and valid ID at delivery. If ID cannot be provided, we cannot complete delivery and a failed delivery fee may apply.
  • 7.3 We do not deliver prescription medicines or dangerous goods.

8. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • 8.1 Cancel ≥12 hours before pickup: no fee.
  • 8.2 Cancel <12 hours or no‑show: a fee up to the full quoted amount may apply to cover the lost slot.
  • 8.3 Rescheduling is free ≥6 hours before pickup (subject to availability).

9. Delays & Weather

  • 9.1 Time windows are estimates. Traffic, access and weather may affect timing.
  • 9.2 We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control (force majeure).

10. Loss, Damage & Claims

  • 10.1 We take reasonable care of your goods and premises. If damage occurs due to our negligence, notify the crew at the time and email hello@liztty.com within 48 hours with photos and a description.
  • 10.2 To the extent permitted by law, our liability for loss/damage to goods is limited to the lower of: (a) our cost of repair, or (b) the item's fair market value, capped at AUD $500 per job. We do not cover consequential loss.
  • 10.3 Nothing here excludes or limits non‑excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where such rights apply, our liability is limited to the remedy permitted by law (re‑supply or cost of re‑supply).
  • 10.4 We may take and store proof‑of‑delivery photos for your records and ours.

11. Customer Responsibilities

  • 11.1 Provide accurate information, be contactable during the job, and ensure someone 18+ is present to accept delivery.
  • 11.2 Confirm items will fit through doors/lifts; fees apply for returns if items do not fit.

12. Subcontractors

We may use trusted subcontractors/drivers. These T&Cs apply to work performed on our behalf.

13. Privacy

We collect contact details and job information to perform the service and for customer communications. We don't sell personal data. See our Privacy Notice for details.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
