A single TV mount on plasterboard takes about an hour. Mounting a TV, connecting a soundbar and streaming box, and hanging a few frames is a common two-hour booking. A full move-in setup across several rooms usually runs half a day.

We mount on plasterboard, brick, concrete and steel-stud walls, each with the fixings that wall type requires. Tell us the wall type and the TV size when you request the quote. We will tell you straight away if a wall is not suitable rather than mounting something that will not hold.

We connect appliances to existing taps, drains and power outlets, then run the machine to check for leaks. Installing a new outlet, moving a waste pipe or any hard-wiring is licensed electrical and plumbing work, so that needs a licensed trade. Tell us what is already in place and we will confirm what we can do before you book.

Someone over 18 needs to provide access and agree where things go. Mounting height and TV position are worth deciding in person, because moving a mounted bracket afterwards means new holes in the wall.

The technician brings the tools, including a stud finder and the drills for masonry and steel stud. Wall anchors suited to your wall type are supplied. The TV bracket itself is usually yours to supply, but ask when quoting and one can be included.

You need your landlord's or the strata committee's written permission before anything is drilled into a wall, and in some buildings drilling is restricted to certain hours. Get that in writing first. We can also suggest no-drill options such as a floor-standing TV mount.

Cable concealment can be quoted where the wall construction allows it. Running mains power inside a wall cavity is licensed electrical work, so in-wall power needs an electrician. HDMI and data cables and surface-mounted trunking are straightforward.

Every Liztty technician carries public liability cover for accidental damage to your property. If a part is missing from a flat pack or a bracket does not match the TV, we photograph it and tell you straight away so you can arrange a replacement.
