Alcohol Delivery Terms & Conditions

These terms apply in addition to Liztty's General Terms whenever you request delivery of alcohol. Please read carefully.

Summary (Plain English):

We can only deliver pre‑purchased alcohol from licensed retailers to adults 18+. We must sight valid ID and refuse delivery if the recipient appears intoxicated or no eligible adult is present. Alcohol cannot be left unattended.

1. Legal Age Requirement

  • The recipient must be 18 years or older.
  • Our team will require proof of age (current driver licence, passport, or state photo card) before handover.
  • If valid ID is not produced, delivery will be refused and the job will be charged in full.

2. Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

  • Alcohol will not be delivered to anyone who appears intoxicated, violent, or disorderly.
  • Our team may refuse or halt delivery at their discretion to comply with RSA obligations.
  • We cannot leave alcohol with minors or unattended at any address.

3. Orders & Collection

  • Alcohol must be pre‑purchased directly by you from a licensed retailer (e.g., Dan Murphy's, BWS, independent bottle shops).
  • Liztty provides collection and transport only. We do not select or purchase alcohol on your behalf.
  • Please provide the correct order number, name for collection, and any store pickup requirements.

4. Delivery Conditions

  • Delivery must be made in person to an eligible adult with valid ID.
  • If no eligible adult is available, we will return the order to the retailer or our depot; additional fees may apply.
  • We cannot deliver to public spaces where ID checks cannot be reliably performed.
  • We may require the recipient's signature and/or a proof‑of‑delivery photo (without showing sensitive personal data).

5. Fees, Failed Deliveries & Cancellations

  • Standard Liztty rates apply unless otherwise quoted.
  • Failed deliveries (no ID, intoxicated recipient, no eligible adult present, incorrect address) are charged in full.
  • Re‑delivery, storage, or return‑to‑store fees may apply where applicable.
  • Cancellations follow our general cancellation policy in the main Terms.

6. Liability

  • Liztty is not liable for packaging quality, spillage, or breakage of goods packaged by the retailer.
  • After lawful handover, any subsequent supply to minors or intoxicated persons is the sole responsibility of the recipient/customer.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under applicable consumer laws to the extent they cannot be excluded.

7. Quantity & Service Limits

  • Unless agreed in writing, the maximum per delivery is two standard cartons/cases or equivalent.
  • We may decline deliveries that, in our view, present safety, legal, or compliance risks.

8. Service Areas & Special Events

  • Alcohol delivery is available only within Liztty's active service zones.
  • During major events or police operations (e.g., New Year's Eve, major festivals), restrictions may apply and bookings may be rescheduled or declined.

9. Privacy & Verification

  • We may collect minimal information (e.g., name, DOB year) necessary to verify age and complete delivery.
  • Proof‑of‑delivery artifacts (e.g., signature, non‑sensitive photo) are stored per our Privacy Policy.
  • We do not retain copies of identification documents.
